Chris "Sacriel" Ball, the UK survival-shooter streamer behind years of Escape from Tarkov, DayZ and Rust, signed with Loaded in July 2020, and later that year announced an exclusive deal to stream on Twitch. This film marked the moment.
The concept is a march through the history of the hunt, era by era: a flint spear on sunlit rock in tall grass; a medieval camp with a bow, arrows, a straw archery target, a tent and a campfire; a torch-lit stone castle with a crossbow on the table; a catapult; a WWI-style trench lined with sandbags and supply crates (one stencilled "TEA," a nod to Sacriel being British); and a modern desert compound with a bolt-action sniper rifle on a bipod. The camera whips through each scene before landing looking down the scope, where the Twitch logo sits in the reticle. A tagline card follows, "NO MATTER WHERE THE BATTLE TAKES HIM, HE ONLY CALLS ONE PLACE HOME," before it resolves on Sacriel's mark. Produced at Loaded; concept, 3D and animation.
